Yesterday marked a historic moment as The City of Yonkers unveiled its first park dedicated to Hispanic heritage: El Parque de la Cultura! 🎉 Formerly known as Daylighting III, this vibrant space celebrates the rich influence of Latino culture in our community.

Located at the corner of Nepperhan Avenue and New Main Street, it proudly features a bilingual sign, welcoming everyone to enjoy its beauty.

“We embrace all communities here in Yonkers,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “This park symbolizes the more than 20 Latin American countries represented in Yonkers. The influence of Latino culture is a source of pride and continues to be an important partnership for the growth of our City.”
